Artist, Doodler and Illustrator
I am an artist and self-taught graphic designer living in Johannesburg, South Africa. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I was never crazy about school, except for the art class, so in high school my favourite subject was, of course, art. I used to spend every moment I could in Art Class.

Like many others, I left school, got married and became a mom to 3 wonderful children who are now all grown up with families of their own. When my children were young, I painted everything from landscapes to portraits. Working mostly in watercolours, pastels and later, acrylics. I love creating art, and these days I find sketching and doodling to be a great way to relax and unwind.

When creating my doodles, I often work in ballpoint pens, sharpies, fineliners and even highlighters. A few years ago I started creating images for colouring in. I would draw them in pencil, then ink them and scan them into illustrator where I would turn them into vector images. Then I found that I could also create drawings on my tablet (not an iPad) and then also convert them to vectors. With the encouragement of my family, I started compiling my Mandala images into a colouring book that I then published through Amazon’s KDP portal.
